So E has an imaginary friend. His name is Bad Guy. But Bad Guy isn't really bad. He's actually a good guy. He doesn't come for dinner or anything, but he'll call him on the phone and talk about him. For example, we were driving on the Legacy last night and we could see the train, but it wasn't moving. He pretended to call Bad Guy on the phone and asked him to bring batteries to the train. And when I asked E to snuggle with me, he said he couldn't right then, but Bad Guy could. He then reminded me that Bad Guy was a good guy. Sometimes Bad Guy rides in the car with us too. Luckily though, he doesn't go to church with us. I think the teachers in the nursery would really wonder about E bringing Bad Guy to church with him, especially if he forgot to tell them he was really a good guy!
According to the monthly emails I get from Babycenter about E's growth and whatnot, the last one said that imaginery friends are perfectly normal and actually healthy. I giggle to myself a bit because this friend's name is Bad Guy. But I guess it's all okay since he's really a good guy!
